Murray Engineering consists of the following key personnel and a group of design professionals, which includes engineers, architectural consultants, CAD operators and code specialists, with diversified backgrounds and expertise.

 

William Eng, PE, Senior Engineer

Mr. William Eng joined Murray Engineering in the Fall of 2004 as a Senior Structural Engineer. Mr. Eng brings with him a wide variety of design experience, he has extensive experience withsteel and concrete structures with an expertise in post-tensioned concrete structures. His experience ranges from low to high rise structures, museums, residential, institutional,office and mixed use buildings.

Mr. Eng recieved his Bachelor of Science in Civil EngineeringDegree with honors from Lehigh University and his Master of Science in Civil Engineering Degree from Purdue University. While at Murray Engineering, Mr. Eng is the project manager of several low and mid rise residential buildings in New York City. The construction of the buildings spans all types, including wood, steel, concrete,cold formed metal and block and plank. He has also been involved in many renovation projects of high end residential apartments throughout Manhattan.

Prior to joining Murray Engineering Mr. Eng was with Leslie E. Robertson Associates for 7 years, where he worked on a wide variety of projects with world renowned architects. His most promienent projects include the Korean Mission to the UN in Manhattan, the New York Hall of Science in Queens, NY, the Espirito Santo Tower, 1 and 2 Tequesta Point in Miami, Fl and Bentonville Plaza in Arkansas. Another notable project include an aluminium and steel sculpture with Carlos Zapata, located in Miami Beach. Mr. Eng was heavily involved in providing engineering services during the Recovery Process at Ground Zero after 9/11. Mr. Eng's work on the temporary PATH station led Mr. Eng to join Parsons Corporation to work on the Permenent PATH station with Santiago Calatrava.

Mr. Eng interests include pursuing challenging engineering problems and providing cost effective and constructible solutions to our clients.

Mr. Eng is an active member of the Structural Engineers Association of New
York serving as the continuing education chair.
